My name is Nadia Bentoua and I am the creator of Dynamic English Lessons and I am half English and half Moroccan. On a recent trip to Morocco, I was extremely saddened to see the poverty in which some people are forced to live and as a result have to miss out on MANY things including their right to an education.
I was very fortunate to be born and raised in England where it was so easy to take an education for granted as it was free and compulsory. It is not until I started to travel the world and really see how so many people are forced to live, that I realized how lucky I was.
Education is such an amazing gift and I want to do my bit to help change people's lives
I have been teaching English for many years. I truly believe I have the perfect solution to help English language learners. In turn, 50% of the proceeds of my project will go towards helping street children in Morocco have the opportunity to receive an education.
Just to give you a few facts on Moroccan education and the huge need of help:
"Many children - particularly girls in rural areas - still do not attend school. The country's illiteracy rate has been stuck at around 50% for some years but reaches as high as 90% among girls in rural regions."
My dream is to help as much as I possibly can. I also intend to put a special focus on helping girls - the above statistic is just unacceptable. This is why something has to be done. When I travel in Morocco, it breaks my heart to see children living on the streets and digging through rubbish in order to find things to sell when they should be at school. These are my people and this is my way of trying to help.
I am the creator of a business that provides English learners with a very REAL & much needed opportunity to learn English all for $5 a month.
Everything about my site is unique. How is it unique ?
Users can have fun while they learn grammar, for example through hip hop -> listening lesson and other songs; listen to (via videos &mp3s) native speakers from the US, England, Australia talk about relevant and current issues such as bullying, racism, addiction and depression as well as topics such as US slang, British slang, cultures and many more.
I create personal lessons for learners and help them to write a resume, job interview practice, pronunciation you name it, they can learn it! So the site is built with the lessons that learners truly want!
